Your mission
As a Global Trade Compliance Specialist at Epiroc, you’ll be at the heart of our efforts to transform trade compliance into a strategic asset. You’ll work across divisions and geographies, guiding teams to operate ethically, efficiently, and in full alignment with global trade regulations. Your role will be to support compliant FTA utilization while driving performance optimization.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Acting as a Specialist in Customs regulations and processes with focus on FTA utilization and Broker management
- Advising on Customs matters and supporting teams with training and guidance.
- Monitoring regulatory changes and helping the business adapt quickly and compliantly.
- Leading assessments, and risk mitigation efforts to ensure robust compliance.
- Supporting strategic projects and transformations with trade compliance expertise.
- Building strong internal and external networks to share best practices and drive continuous improvement.
Your profile
You bring a strong sense of integrity and a passion for helping businesses operate ethically and in full compliance with global trade regulations. With a proactive mindset and a collaborative spirit, you thrive in dynamic environments and know how to turn complexity into clarity. Your communication skills allow you to engage confidently across all levels of the organization, while your analytical thinking helps you balance detail with strategic perspective. You’re a natural team player, motivated by results, and always looking for ways to improve processes and share best practices.
Other requirements:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in international trade compliance
- Expertise in FTA utilization and Broker management
- Experience with trade tools, metrics, audits, and training
- Exposure to mechanical engineering or mining industries is a plus
- Demonstrated presence in the international trade community
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Supply Chain, Logistics or equivalent
- Certified Customs Professional is a strong advantage
Location and travel
The role can be based in following Epiroc offices in Sweden: Örebro, Stockholm, Fagersta. Occasional travel is required.
