Head of Deal Factory, Commercial Excellence
Örebro, Orebro County, SE, 70191 Luleå, Norrbotten, SE, 977 54 Nacka, Stockholm County, SE, 131
We are strengthening our commercial capabilities to support accelerated growth and increased customer value. We are seeking a commercially driven leader to build and lead the global Deal Factory, creating a structured and scalable approach to winning our largest and most strategically important opportunities.
Your Mission
As Head of Deal Factory, you will lead Epiroc's global Deal Factory, partnering closely with Customer Centers and commercial teams to strengthen our ability to win large and strategically important opportunities.
The role is responsible for creating a consistent and scalable approach to major deal pursuits, ensuring that the right resources, expertise, and decision-making processes are mobilized at the right time.
A key part of the mission is establishing and continuously developing the Deal Factory operating model, governance framework, and fast-track decision processes that support successful deal execution.
By creating clear ownership, prioritization mechanisms, and effective ways of working, the function enables teams to focus their efforts on the opportunities that matter most.
The role also owns the development and continuous improvement of the commercial playbook, deal methodologies, and supporting tools used across the organization.
Insights and lessons learned from completed pursuits are translated into best practices, helping commercial teams become more effective, consistent, and customer-focused over time.
Close collaboration with Customer Centers is critical to success. The function provides hands-on support for must-win opportunities, coordinating regional Deal Factory teams across NASA, EMEA, APAC, and China Overseas while bringing together commercial leaders and cross-divisional experts to form high-performing deal teams.
Performance management is another important area of responsibility. Through close monitoring of pipeline quality, win rates, response times, and post-deal reviews, the role helps strengthen Epiroc's commercial effectiveness and builds organizational capability for future opportunities.
As part of the Commercial Excellence leadership team, this position plays a central role in shaping how Epiroc approaches complex deal pursuits, drives commercial discipline, and creates a competitive advantage in the market.
Your Profile
This role is well suited for an experienced commercial leader with a strong track record in major deal pursuits, business leadership, sales leadership, or P&L management, ideally within mining, heavy industry, capital equipment, or other complex B2B environments.
Success in the position requires a deep understanding of large and multi-faceted tender processes, commercial negotiations, pricing strategies, contract management, and commercial risk assessment.
Experience leading complex pursuits involving multiple stakeholders, business units, and geographic regions will be highly valuable.
A strategic mindset is balanced by a strong bias for action. Sound judgment, the ability to make timely decisions under pressure, and confidence in navigating ambiguity are essential in an environment where opportunities often move quickly and competition is intense.
Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities are equally important. The role requires credibility with senior customer representatives, business leaders, and frontline sales teams alike, as well as the ability to influence without direct authority and align diverse stakeholders behind a common objective.
Collaboration comes naturally, and success is driven by building strong relationships across divisions, regions, and functions. At the same time, a pragmatic approach and low tolerance for unnecessary complexity help ensure momentum and progress in critical deal situations.
Resilience, adaptability, and a high level of energy are important qualities, as the role involves managing multiple high-priority pursuits simultaneously while maintaining focus on business outcomes and customer value.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required. Swedish language skills are considered an advantage.
Location and Travel
This role can be based in Stockholm, Örebro, or Luleå. Travel of up to 50% is expected.
