Are you ready?

We are looking for a strategic leader to drive the development of Epiroc's commercial platforms and tools. This role will play a key part in creating an integrated, data-driven commercial environment that supports growth, operational excellence, and customer success across the business.

Your Mission

As Head of Platform and Tools, you will lead the development and evolution of the commercial technology ecosystem that supports Epiroc's growth ambitions.

The role is responsible for ensuring that Salesforce serves as the single source of truth for commercial opportunities while establishing an integrated architecture that connects systems, data, and users across the organization.

A key focus will be creating a streamlined and scalable technology landscape that delivers high business value while reducing complexity and optimizing technology investments.

Salesforce will sit at the core of this ecosystem, supported by strong governance, data quality standards, and seamless integrations with adjacent commercial systems.

The role also oversees the development and continuous improvement of critical deal-support tools, including Win Plans, RFP response solutions, simulation models, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) capabilities.

Working closely with commercial teams, these tools will be refined to address real business needs, improve decision-making, and strengthen commercial performance.

Success depends on leveraging data, analytics, and artificial intelligence to create meaningful insights and automate complex processes.

By ensuring access to the right internal and external data sources, the function will support forecasting, simulation modelling, commercial analysis, and performance reporting across the business.

Close collaboration with commercial, technology, and business stakeholders will be essential to deliver a reliable, secure, and user-focused platform environment.

The role will establish governance standards, oversee integrations, and ensure that commercially sensitive data is managed responsibly while remaining accessible to those who need it.

As part of the Commercial Excellence leadership team, this position plays a key role in defining platform strategy, setting priorities, and ensuring that technology investments translate into measurable commercial impact.

Your Profile

This opportunity is well suited for a leader with significant experience in commercial technology, CRM platforms, Salesforce, data and analytics, or related areas, ideally gained in industrial, manufacturing, mining, or other complex B2B environments.

Experience building and scaling technology solutions that support commercial organizations will be highly valuable.

A strong understanding of Salesforce platforms, commercial processes, data architecture, analytics, and AI-enabled solutions is combined with the ability to connect business needs with technical delivery.

Success in the role requires seeing the bigger picture while remaining focused on practical outcomes and user value.

Experience managing product roadmaps, prioritizing competing demands, and leading cross-functional initiatives is important.

A structured approach to decision-making, and the ability to balance strategic objectives with operational realities will help drive effective outcomes.

An adoption-focused mindset is essential. Rather than measuring success by the number of features delivered, value is created through user engagement, process effectiveness, data quality, and business impact.

Building trust in systems and ensuring high standards for reliability, security, and data integrity are central to the role.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are equally important.

The ability to work across functions, influence decisions, and bring together commercial and technical perspectives will enable successful collaboration throughout the organization.

Most importantly, we are looking for someone who enjoys building capabilities, solving complex challenges, and creating digital solutions that help commercial teams perform at their best.

Excellent communication skills in English are essential, as the role operates in a global environment with stakeholders across multiple regions.

Proficiency in Swedish is considered an advantage but is not required.

Location and Travel

This role can be based in Stockholm, Örebro, or Luleå. Travel of up to 50% is expected.
