Your mission
As a PLM developer, your role will involve collaborating with team members to develop Teamcenter solutions that meet the organization's business requirements according to the agile methodology and development best practices.

 

Some of the main tasks and responsibilities of this role include:

  • Understanding business requirements and preparing functional specifications in collaboration with Solution Architect and other roles within the organization.
  • Creating design specifications and developing the solution according to the specification including unit testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and integration partners during various phases ex: feasibility, proof of concepts, defect fixing etc.
  • Responsible for timely delivery and Quality Assurance of deliverables.
  • Contribute in further development of efficient methods, principles, documentation and routines  within PLM development area.

 

Your profile
To succeed in this role, we believe you have a University Degree covering areas such as IT/Computer science or similar knowledge developed through working experience combined with at least 5-7 years of experience in Teamcenter Solution Development and Teamcenter Customization. You have good understanding of software development best practices and a solid understanding and experience working with Teamcenter functionalities, features, and modules.

 

You are a team player who can work with multi-cultural teams, collaborating with colleagues from various IT disciplines across the globe, and fostering a positive work environment. Given the collaborative nature of the role, good interpersonal and communications skills are essential. You are proactive and independent, with good problem-solving skills. Fluency in English is a must, Swedish language is considered an advantage. 

 

Other requirements include:

  • Development experience in Teamcenter modules/features such as BOM Management, Change Management, Manufacturing Process Planner, Product Configurator, Variant Management, Report Generation, Workflow Designer, Dispatcher and Transfer modes.
  • Teamcenter Data Model (BMIDE) and deployments.
  • Hands-on experience in Teamcenter Customization like ITK and SOA.
  • C and C++ Programming Skills.
  • Any scripting language knowledge such as JavaScript, SQL, Perl, Batch, XML and XSLT
  • Work experience using Azure DevOps or JIRA.
  • Knowledge on Teamcenter Rich Client Customization, AWC Customization is a plus

Location and travel
This position is located in Örebro, Sweden. Occasional travel will be needed. In case a candidate from a different country applies and is successful, local Swedish terms and conditions will apply.
