The Material Handling Product Team consist of technical product responsible, product team engineers and responsibility of automation platform and is a part of the Epiroc R&D underground division.

Your mission
Are you interested in and willing to learn and gain a broad technical knowledge about the product family / application and work in an “Product and customer” environment? Where you will interact with - Marketing - Production, - Aftermarket. Occasionally also with customers/customer centers to gather feedback to gain a better understanding of customer requirements, ensuring these needs are incorporated into future solutions?

As “Product Team Engineer” you will collaborate with a cross-functional team, comprised of diverse engineering expertise, and your main tasks will be to lead and implement solutions that will Reduce customers' total cost of ownership (TCO) by solving issues reported by customers and production on existing machine models and implement solutions that improve operator experience and overall machine performance.
Product Team Engineer will also give input regarding product strategy and roadmap and lead troubleshooting investigations in quality and Product Safety cases and continually work to improve product availability and quality through improvement suggestion to the Technical Product Responsible.
Your profile
To be successful in this role you need to have a university degree in Engineering from a relevant area or similar highly qualified documented engineering experience.
As a member of the R&D team, we expect you to be committed to contribute to growing the entire organization towards our vision and strategy, where collaboration, innovation and technology transitions are important examples.
You are customer centric, target focused, and a collaborative team player and we hope that you are curious and dare to think new.
We are searching for several positions with a few years’ experience in Hydraulic system design.
You have some knowledge of the products application and are familiar with the tools that you use in your engineering role today, like Teamcenter, 3D cad, AutoCad etc.
You are comfortable in both English and Swedish both speaking and in writing.
Location and travel
This position is located in Örebro, Sweden. Occasional travel is required.
