The Material Handling Product Team consists of technical product responsible, product team engineers and responsibility of automation platform and is a part of the Epiroc R&D underground division.

Your mission
Are you interested in and willing to learn and gain a broad technical knowledge about the product family / application and work in an “Product and customer” environment? Where you will interact with - product owners from R&D, Production and aftermarket department. Occasionally also with customer centers to gather feedback to gain a better understanding of customer requirements, ensuring these needs are incorporated into future solutions?
As “Product Team Engineer” you will collaborate with a cross-functional team, comprised of diverse engineering expertise and your main tasks will be to lead and implement improvement tasks in market request and quality improvements. You will also occasionally be involved when production need support.
Product Team Engineer will also give input regarding product strategy and roadmap and lead troubleshooting investigations in quality and product safety cases and continually work to improve product availability and quality through improvement suggestions.
Your profile
To be successful in this role you need to have a university degree in engineering with focus on power train or similar highly qualified engineering background.

You are customer centric, target focused, and a collaborative team player and we hope that you are curious and dare to think new.
We are seeking a talented Power train Engineer with some years of experience in designing and developing drive train systems for heavy-duty vehicles.
Key qualifications:
- Experience with Teamcenter, Creo, and AutoCAD for design and documentation
- Skilled in hands on testing and validating powertrain components.
- Take lead in solving drive train issues and managing the full process from root cause analysis to resolution
- Collaborate with other teams, and be responsible for driving the work and achieve wanted results
- Familiarity with industry regulations for heavy-duty machinery is a plus
- English and Swedish communication skills, written and spoken
Location and other
This position is located in Örebro, Sweden. Occasional travel is required.
