The Material Handling Product Team have technical responsibility for our products and platforms on the market and consists of several different expert roles from Global Technical Product Managers to Software Release Managers and is a part of the Epiroc R&D underground division.

Your mission
In this role, you will lead the development of cybersecurity analysis methods and CRA‑aligned risk assessment frameworks for Epiroc’s underground mobile machines and automation systems. You will integrate cybersecurity, safety, and regulatory requirements from the design stage and support teams across R&D, automation, and product development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop cybersecurity risk assessment methods tailored for underground machines.
- Integrate safety, regulatory, and cybersecurity requirements in early-stage design globally.
- Apply IEC 62443 zone & conduit modeling for secure architecture segmentation.
- Use ISO 21434 TARA and MITRE ATT&CK for ICS to enrich threat modeling.
- Drive CRA‑aligned documentation, including secure-by-design evidence.
- Support development projects and lead investigations when required.
Your profile
To be successful in the role you have an interest in going into details but also enjoy to interact with people and can easily motivate and take lead with a creative and analytic mindset. With only some frames set for the mission you can work in a structured way to achieve results.
You have a documented academic background within computer science, cybersecurity, automation, electronics, and similar. i.e. Master’s or bachelor’s degree.
Knowledge/experience of vehicle automation systems is an advantage and if you are used to work as project leader.
We expect you to have some years of relevant experience in cybersecurity for complex systems (OT/ICS/automation/mobile machinery) and have knowledge of IEC 62443, ISO/SAE 21434, ISO 27000-series.
You will have both internal and external contacts and travelling will occasionally be required.
We expect you to be fluently in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.

This position is located in Örebro, Sweden. Occasional travel is required.
