Production Quality Manager

Your Team

In the Production Quality department, you will work with a dynamic group that includes SQA (Supplier Quality Assurance), Incoming Inspectors, Measurement Technicians, Quality Engineers, and Troubleshooters. As Production Quality Manager, you will lead this dedicated team of 18 engaged employees and report directly to the Manager Quality and Test Center organization. Our team works with a “right-from-me” mindset and collaborates closely with other functions to identify and address quality deviations early in the process. We foster a culture of continuous learning and development through feedback and knowledge sharing.

 

Your Mission

In this role, you will develop and implement the long-term quality strategy aligned with the site’s goals and strategic objectives. You will act as a coach and mentor on quality matters, ensuring the organization has the expertise needed to manage quality issues. Cross-functional collaboration with various stakeholders is crucial to achieving your goals.

 

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead and develop the team to ensure high performance.
  • Improve, establish, and maintain quality processes, routines, and procedures.
  • Support the organization in managing quality-related issues.
  • Oversee handling of deviations, complaints, goods reception, and support processes.
  • Own and follow up on production quality KPIs, and implement activities to improve results, including reporting and reviews.
  • Maintain a safe and sustainable work environment using our tools (e.g., risk assessment, 5S, TIA, safety rounds, etc.).
  • Collaborate with Strategic Purchasing to ensure supplier quality and drive continuous improvements with our suppliers.
  • Train managers and employees on quality matters.
  • Provide tools and methods for quality improvements and operational excellence.
  • Participate in customer and supplier visits to strengthen relationships and quality standards.

 

Your Profile

We are looking for a candidate with solid leadership experience, preferably focused on quality work within the manufacturing industry or a similar field. A technical academic degree or equivalent work experience is required. Fluency in Swedish and English is a must.

 

You should be self-motivated, structured, and communicative with a coaching approach. Key skills include quality management, process management, audit experience, and knowledge of Six Sigma or Lean methods. Experience with 8D, problem-solving, statistical methods, quality tools, and FMEA is an advantage. Your ability to develop and manage KPIs, collaborate cross-functionally, interpret standards, and lead change will be critical for success in this role.

 

Location and Travel

This position is based in Örebro, Sweden. Occasional travel is required.
