Regulatory and Compliance Specialist
Örebro, Orebro County, SE, 70191
At Epiroc, we believe that innovation, collaboration, and commitment are the keys to accelerating transformation. As a leading productivity partner for the mining and infrastructure industries, we develop innovative technology and solutions that create lasting impact. As a Regulatory and Compliance Specialist, you will contribute to ensuring that our battery-electric vehicle (BEV) products meet global regulatory standards—helping to shape the future of sustainable mining.
Dare to think new.
Join our team
You would join a globally connected and highly skilled team dedicated to ensuring that the next generation of battery-electric vehicles (BEVs) meets the highest regulatory and safety standards. In this role, you will take an active part in securing regulatory approval for innovative electrification solutions, ensuring that our products align with industry standards and customer expectations.
Your mission
As a Regulatory and Compliance Specialist, you will ensure that Epiroc’s BEV products comply with global regulatory requirements. You will monitor evolving industry standards, assess compliance risks, and support product development teams in integrating regulatory requirements from the start.
By working in a structured and forward-looking way, you will translate complex regulations into clear guidelines, collaborate with suppliers to meet compliance standards, and facilitate smooth market entry. Your work will be key to ensuring product safety, regulatory adherence, and the continued innovation of electrified mining solutions.
Your profile
To be successful in this role, we believe you have a relevant technical background, ideally with a degree in electrical engineering or a related field. You bring experience from working with regulatory or product compliance, with at least two years in a similar role—though more extensive experience is certainly welcomed. If you have previously worked with compliance in connection to complex systems such as electric vehicles, high-voltage components, or within a product development process, that is considered a strong asset.
Beyond your technical qualifications, you communicate clearly and effectively, both in writing and speech. With a solid understanding of regulatory frameworks, you effectively interpret standards and ensure that products meet external requirements. Known for being structured and thorough, you also enjoy collaborating across functions to secure high-quality, compliant outcomes. When circumstances change, you remain calm and solution-focused, prioritizing effectively while maintaining flexibility. Your collaborative mindset, attention to detail, and adaptability will support your growth and impact in this role.
Fluency in English is required for this role. Swedish is an advantage but not a requirement.
