SENIOR ACCOUNTING TO REPORTING SPECIALIST

We are looking for a Senior Accounting to Reporting Specialist to join our accounting team in Örebro
This position is a temporary assignment (approximately 12 months).
About the role
You will be part of the Accounting to Reporting (AtR) Spoke Nordic team within the Regional Center of Excellence for EMENA. We are a team of 17 persons spread out on 4 different locations, and you will be located in our Örebro office. Together we are responsible for the statutory and the operational reporting for most of the Nordic entities within Epiroc Group. You will work together with the other 4 Senior AtR Specialists on numerous responsibility areas and entities and will report to RCoE EMENA AtR Spoke Nordic Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the delivery of quality Accounting to Reporting (AtR) services to the entities in line with agreed Best Possible Process and the Epiroc Way.
- Harmonize processes between the entities.
- Continuously look for improvement opportunities in processes and ways of working.
- Enable the achievement of further efficiencies by using digitalization and Robotic Process Automation.
- Contribute to an excellent communication flow with stakeholders in the region and relevant parts of the global organization.
Experience and requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Finance, Business Administration or related field.
- +5 years’ experience of working in a similar role, preferably in a multinational company.
- Proven extensive knowledge in IFRS.
- Strong legal statutory and tax reporting knowledge coupled with understanding of Swedish GAAP (K3).
- Expertise in ERP systems such as M3 or SAP.
- Fluent spoken and written Swedish and English is required.
As for personal skills, you can build strong relationships within the company and with external stakeholders. A continuous improvement mindset and ability to take initiatives are key. You also possess great organizational and time management skills to plan and prioritize your own work efficiently and independently. You are consistent, accurate, detail-oriented, and have a positive attitude with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
