Your mission

As a Supplier Development Engineer, you will work proactively with quality and continuous improvement to ensure high-quality products from our suppliers. Your responsibilities include driving proactive quality measures, conducting audits, and resolving production-related issues. You'll initiate quality assurance activities, cost reduction efforts, and process development both internally and with suppliers. You will also participate actively in internal and external quality projects.

 

You’ll be part of a dynamic department, helping to build new business in a global context, with sustainability at the core of everything we do.

 

Your profile

To succeed in this role, we believe you have a positive, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset. You are self-driven, structured, and open to new ideas and ways of working – with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and quality.

 

We are looking for someone with:

  • A university degree in quality assurance or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in quality work and an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) background.
  • Knowledge in the electrification segment is meriting.
  • A solid understanding of quality tools and process-based thinking.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Full proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
  • Willingness and ability to travel when needed.

 

Location and other

This position is located in Örebro, Sweden.

We can offer a hybrid workplace—a way of working that provides flexibility and promotes a healthier balance between professional and personal life.

International travel is required in the role, approximately 35 days.
