Epiroc's Strategic Sourcing department within Electrification Solutions (EES) is seeking a dedicated individual to enhance our supplier quality initiatives and support our global operations.

Your mission
As a Supplier Development Engineer, you'll be a key player in ensuring high-quality products from our suppliers. Your responsibilities include driving proactive quality measures, conducting audits, and resolving production-related issues. You'll initiate quality assurance activities, cost reduction efforts, and process development both internally and with suppliers.
Active participation in internal and external quality projects, collaboration with commodity managers, and competence in welding are essential. Your focus on continuous improvement will ensure accurate documentation in the Management System (MS).
In summary, your role is crucial to maintaining our commitment to excellence in product quality, driving improvements in internal and external processes and projects.
Your profile
We are looking for someone motivated by building strong supplier relationships, improving quality, and contributing to innovative and sustainable solutions. To thrive in this role you should be structured, solution-focused and enjoy collaborating with others.
To be relevant for this role you should also bring:
- A university degree in engineering, quality assurance, or other related field (or the equivalent work experience in supplier development).
- Experience in supplier quality, supplier development, or supplier relations, ideally in a global or multi-site environment.
- Familiarity with quality methods and tools (e.g., APQP, PPAP, FMEA, 8D) – is a plus.
- Interest or some experience in electrification, batteries, or related technologies.
- Must be open to travel and working with suppliers in different countries.
- Good communication skills in English; Swedish or other languages are a plus.

Location and travel
This position is located in Örebro, Sweden. Occasional international travel is required in the role.
