Are you ready?

Are you motivated by driving real change and creating lasting improvements across a global supplier base? We are looking for a Supplier Development Engineer (SDE) to join our TIN Sourcing team. In this role, you will act as a key link between internal stakeholders, R&D, and suppliers - ensuring that quality deviations are not only identified but permanently resolved in an early stage. You will play a central role in transforming data and feedback into sustainable actions, contributing to our ongoing Strategic Sourcing targets with a strong focus on quality, performance, and sustainability.

Your mission
As Supplier Development Engineer, your mission is to drive structured change management and continuous improvement across our supplier landscape and internal interfaces. You will:

•    Own and structure the inflow of quality data and problem signals from internal customers, suppliers, and field claims
•    Translate data into insights and prioritized actions, ensuring that the right problems are solved
•    Lead structured problem-solving (8D, RCA, CAPA, PDCA) and secure root-cause-based corrective actions
•    Ensure implementation and long-term sustainability of improvements across design, test methods, and suppliers
•    Monitor and improve supplier quality performance (PPM, yield, claims)
•    Establish visibility of Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) and drive improvements based on Pareto analysis
•    Conduct and support audits (process, product, system), including People and Planet assessments
•    Lead cross-functional improvement initiatives and challenge the status quo to drive real change
•    Contribute to key quality processes such as PQAP, TSQP, and Review of Technical Specifications (RTS)

Your profile
We are looking for an experienced and influential professional with strong capabilities in both quality engineering and change management.

Must-have:
•    Experience within supplier development, electronic manufacturing, or test environments
•    Project Management and Change Management experience
•    Strong expertise in RCA, CAPA, and structured problem-solving methodologies (e.g. 8D or PDCA)
•    Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders without formal authority
•    Good understanding of electronics, test, and development environments
•    Good command of English, both written and spoken.

Meriting:
•    Six Sigma, Black Belt or similar certification
•    Audit experience

Who are you:
•    You have a natural ability to build connections and collaborate with others, and you are a good listener who values understanding different perspectives
•    Analytical and structured - you turn data into decisions
•    Curious and proactive - you go beyond symptoms to find true root causes
•    Strong communicator - you navigate confidently between engineering, sourcing, and business
•    Action-oriented - you ensure that improvements are implemented and sustained
•    You combine a strong quality engineering mindset with the ability to translate data into insight, and insight into impactful actions - while driving change across functions and organizations.
