Your mission

As a Test Developer at Epiroc you will create and implement automated test programs for Operations Solutions. In this role you are responsible for designing and writing test automation scripts in Ranorex as well as executing manual testing activities on a regular basis. Tests will encompass both functional and non-functional aspects so i­t is important to pay attention to every aspect of the software.

 

Your focus will be to ensure high-quality system deliveries and follow established test processes. 

Your daily work will also involve: Writing and executing test scenarios, identifying defects, contributing to the improvement of testing methods and documentation.

 

You’ll be a part of the Product Lifecycle Management engineering agile team focusing on Teamcenter. In this role you’ll also work cross functionally with other teams to test and automate testing on tools such as PTC Creo, AutoCAD, Ansys, and others, all of which are utilized by end-users in Epiroc.

 

You will collaborate and work closely with our test- and development teams and actively engage with the teams, the project members and our end users. It is important to understand business requirements and enhance the quality of our systems.

 

 

 

Your profile

To succeed in this role, you have knowledge in both testing and development methods. You have an undergraduate degree in, Information Systems, Computer Science, etc., or similar relevant working experience is preferred. You also have technical expertise in test automation and experience programming in Ranorex as well as experience manually executing test cases. It’s important that you’re able to have experience or the interest in learning to understand how to utilize the software that will be tested which are tools such as Teamcenter, PTC Creo, AutoCAD, Ansys and others.

As a person you are service minded and always focused on ensuring a high-quality of system deliveries by writing and executing test scenarios, reporting defects and actively participating in the product development lifecycle. You’re curious about how our end users utilize the software we provide and invested in finding ways to improve their experience.  

 

You have effective communication skills, and you see collaboration as a highlight of your working experience. You are structured and meticulous in your documentation and solving problems and you like to understand how things work in connection with each other. You are curious about new technologies and tasks and interested in expanding your role within the agile team.

 

As our teams are international you speak and write English fluently and you feel comfortable using it. Proficiency in Swedish is beneficial but not a requirement.
