Junior Service Engineer - Ivory Coast

The Junior Service Engineer, within the Marketing – Equipment & Service, Parts & Services Division EMEA, will play a critical role in supporting our senior technicians by assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of Epiroc’s advanced mining equipment. This entry-level role offers an excellent opportunity to build foundational technical skills within a dynamic and supportive environment. You will gain hands-on experience with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, primarily under the mentorship of experienced colleagues.

Your Mission

• Assist with equipment breakdown repairs both onsite at customer locations and in company workshops.
• Support routine maintenance and service tasks to ensure equipment reliability and availability.
• Help diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical system issues on customer machines.
• Participate in 5S housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Contribute to sub‑assembly repairs, machine rebuilds, and equipment overhauls under senior guidance.
• Uphold safety standards, handle company tools/vehicles responsibly, collaborate across teams, and adhere to timekeeping and organizational policies.

Your Profile:

• Strong foundational technical knowledge in electrical and mechanical systems related to heavy mining equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret hydraulic, electric, and pneumatic schematics.
• Familiarity with CANBUS (RCS) systems is considered an advantage but not mandatory.
• Good understanding of mining equipment functionality and maintenance practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Valid driver’s license and a commitment to safe driving practices.
• Maintain professional customer-facing conduct by demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and adhering to company grooming and dress standards.
