Join Epiroc Côte d’Ivoire as a Product Specialist SED & ADS in Abidjan, a key role within our Parts & Services Division EMEA. You’ll blend technical expertise with customer engagement to deliver high‑quality support and training for our Surface and Underground equipment. As the central technical contact for service centers, sales teams, dealer partners, and end users, you’ll apply your knowledge of Epiroc systems—including hydraulics, pneumatics, RCS, and CANBUS—to troubleshoot issues, manage warranties, and provide expert operational guidance.

 

In this role, you’ll drive competence development through tailored training programs, conduct root cause failure analyses, and ensure consistent application of Epiroc’s global training standards. Working closely with cross‑functional teams and customers, you’ll also capture and communicate product feedback to support continuous improvement and strengthen overall customer satisfaction.

 

Your Profile 

 

  • Deliver expert technical support and training to internal and external stakeholders, promoting self-sufficiency among frontline technicians.
  • Perform detailed root cause analyses and apply failure mitigation techniques to enhance product reliability and operational performance.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Epiroc products and industry best practices, actively participating in ongoing professional development.
  • Lead warranty management activities to optimize recovery rates and adherence to service standards.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Service Operations to coordinate commissioning, troubleshooting, and new product launches.
  • Coach, mentor, and motivate team members to foster a collaborative environment aligned with Epiroc's culture and values.
  • Support Master Driller / Operator Trainer functions when necessary, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to team success.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's or Honours degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical discipline.
  • Trade-qualified mechanical expertise with advanced skills in electrical fault finding and equipment maintenance.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Epiroc's Surface and Underground products, supported by mandatory Epiroc/Atlas Copco certifications.
  • Proficiency in customer relations, technical communication, and MS Office tools including Excel and Word.
  • Demonstrated ability in root cause analysis, condition monitoring, and oil sampling techniques.
  • Exceptional leadership qualities with experience managing site-based maintenance teams in mining environments.
  • Multidisciplinary collaboration skills, with an understanding of equipment reliability and availability factors impacting customer operations.
  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to produce clear, professional documentation and reports.
