We are seeking a talented Product and Sales Engineer to join our dynamic marketing team in Marketing Department, for the Iberia region (Spain and Portugal). This person will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to promote our aftersales products or services, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement campaigns across various channels.
The Product and Marketing Engineer will oversee specific tasks related to product offerings and promotions, especially service contracts, operational analysis, and vendor management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the marketing plan and strategy established by Epiroc, for the different aftersales products and services;
- Monitor performance metrics, leverage business intelligence insights, and optimize marketing efforts to achieve company objectives.
- Provide support to the Sales Team and customers, promotion and following-up regarding the products and services of Aftersales department, especially Service Contracts, but also other products such as spare parts, components, technical and training services.
- Coordinate marketing campaigns and promotional activities, ensuring timely execution.
- Build and maintain the relationship with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers (particularly internal (factories) but also external), technical department and other internal departments.
- Perform the operational analysis of actual Service Contracts:
- Mechanical availability of equipment under contract.
- Revenues, costs, and profit per equipment.
- Operational planning and forecast: equipment overhauls, repairs, etc.
- Stock levels needed on site
- Provide operational Reports required through data collection, analysis, and synthesis and trending.
- Review orders and back orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Execute the list prices variation and establish strategies for setting and recommending especial sales prices.
- Maintain the identification of the active fleet of Epiroc equipment in both Portugal and Spain.
- Coordinate with relevant teams to manage returns and non-conformance issues from customers.
Profile:
- Engineering Background (Mining, Mechanical, Industrial or other related field).
- Portuguese and English speaker; Spanish is a plus.
- Proven experience in After Sales roles, preferably in a similar industry or aftersales.
- Proficiency in platforms such as Salesforce, PowerBI is desirable.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and navigate ambiguity effectively.
