Join Our Team as a Global SCX Credit & Inventory Controller at Epiroc!
Are you an enthusiastic finance professional with experience in supply chain processes? We are looking for a Global Credit and Inventory Controller to take on a combined role with primary responsibility within Supply Chain. The position plays a key role in driving obsolete inventory reduction initiatives across our global Distribution Centers (DCs), in close collaboration with Planning and Marketing teams. The role is crucial in supporting DC business controllers in collecting indent account receivables.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone seeking a dynamic role with broad cross-functional and cross-divisional cooperation.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing accounts receivable collections for indent transactions across all DCs globally. You will collaborate closely with local Business Controllers (both CCs and DCs), as well as Global and Regional Centers of Excellence, to ensure the timely clearance of Accounts Receivable.
You will also lead initiatives to reduce obsolete inventory across DCs, working in close partnership with Planning, Marketing, and local Business Controllers.

Shift Timings: Monday - Friday, 8AM-5PM (Supports global teams; requires flexibility)
Responsibilities:
- Support the Global Supply Chain team in monthly closing activities, including reporting and financial analysis.
- Prepare for and actively participate in meetings with supply chain management.
- Act as project manager to drive and monitor the execution of proactive action plans aimed at reducing obsolete inventory, in collaboration with Planning and Marketing.
- Perform monthly credit management activities in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
- Design and implement Global SCX policies and procedures for indirect sales through DCs, ensuring full compliance with Epiroc standards (including customer creation, credit limit setup, and coordination of AR collections with customer owners).
- Oversee and calculate monthly bad debt provisions for DCs, obtain write-off approvals, and issue recharges to the respective organizations.
- Ensure that customer contracts are properly executed and that agreed terms and conditions are adhered to at DCs.
- Ensure that indent sales incoterms are favorable to Epiroc and aligned with global policies.
- Support the order fulfillment team with financial instruments, required documentation, and receipt processes.
- Provide monthly reports to divisional and business area management covering both key areas of responsibility.
Knowledge/Education:
- You are a collaborative and proactive individual who thrives in cross-functional environments.
- You communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels and bring strong analytical skills to identify, propose, and implement process improvements.
- You are well-organized, adaptable, and committed to continuous improvement. Strong presentation skills and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining high ethical standards are essential.
- 10 years of experience in controlling, finance, or accounting combined with a degree in Business, Finance, project management or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and BI tools is essential, along with a good understanding of supply chain processes.
- Fluency in English, both verbal and written, is required. Other languages are a plus.
