Warehouse Chief

We are looking for a Warehouse Chief who is located in Ankara to work as a member of Epiroc Turkey. The position will be reported to Supply Chain Operation Center Manager.
The mission is to manage the processes of receiving and storing and dispatching goods in the main warehouse in a timely and safe manner.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the process of sorting and placing the products received by warehouse operators on shelves and racks in a proper and safe manner,
- Receive customer orders sent by the supply chain department by mail or through warehouse automation system, issue the list of orders and submit to warehouse operators,
- Prepare the shipment schedule and organize vehicles for dispatch,
- Pick and pack the products that will be dispatched, and ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of the shipment process,
- Organize the vehicles that arrive the warehouse for shipment purposes, for loading and layout,
- If there is a delay in dispatch of any product according to the shipment schedule, inform the departments,
- Inspect any defective or incomplete cargo delivered to the customer and take required action,
- Monitor and check the material inventory and report to the responsible manager,
- Keep information on and manage relationships with suppliers aiming maximum service with optimum cost in packaging and shipment items,
- Check and evaluate product deficiencies in Epiroc warehouses, inform the building and plant supervisor of any deficiency and ensure they are corrected, ensure the works are performed according to "5S Technique".
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in the field of Logistics, Industrial Engineer, Business Administration,
- Min. 5 years of experience in similar works,
- Holding a forklift operation certification,
- Having good knowledge of invoice, dispatch note, inventory, shipment processes and experience in the management of warehouse operations,
- Good business planning skills,
- Good command of English,
- Proficient in MS Office applications,
- Must possess a valid Class B driver's license,
- Time management and organization skills,
- Strong communication and analytical thinking skills.
