We are searching for a male/ female candidate to our position: 

 

Country Manager South Sub-region of Central Europe

 

With our team responsible for Greece, Cyprus, Israel, Kosovo, Albania (fast growing team of 20 colleagues employed in Greece or supporting from other teams form Central Europe), you will be responsible to develop, implement and manage a strategic sustainable business plan, organize and motivate the teams to target the markets, increase the hit rate and team efficiency.  

You will actively search for synergies, develop team competence, build a talent pipeline, and optimize business processes and organizational structure to meet business development needs, in agreement with the General Manager Central Europe and Regional Business Line Managers.

You will be responsible for sales, service, administration and consolidated performance, with a strong focus on territory management through your managers and team leaders.

You will develop a culture of external and internal customer centricity, living the Epiroc values “Interaction-Commitment-Collaboration” in both internal and external activities and relations.

 

 

Reporting to Regional General Manager Epiroc Central Europe.

 

 

You will manage and develop business

  • Define and implement the business strategy for the South Sub-region to optimize growth and profitability through strong territory management and market presence.
  • Build the efficiency in teamwork across its competence with respective KPIs and sales targets.
  • Be responsible for profit and loss and the balance sheet of Epiroc Hellas legal entity.
  • Maintain a strong business network with distributors in cooperation with the Regional Indirect Sales Channel Manager.
  • Implement the optimal mix of product – price - promotion – place- people through a yearly plan agreed with the responsible Regional Business Line Managers.
  • Monitor operational costs and financial results, reviewing performance against targets and taking proactive actions to address deviations.
  • Continuously define and optimize team size and geographical spread in alignment with Regional Business Managers and the strategy of Epiroc Central Europe.
  • Build personal relationships with key customers.
  • Focus on developing customer share in further aim at market share.
  • Stay continuously updated on market price levels and competitor activities, managing pricing together with RBLMs.
  • Make sure legal entities within South Sub-region meet all local legal rules and Group/EU requirements, including trade and other compliance, in cooperation with the Regional Compliance Manager.

 

 

You will lead and empower the teams

  • Lead, develop and empower employees through courageous leaders‘ leadership and leading by example.
  • Empower and coordinate the closest management team Business Controler and HR department to ensure the healthy develpment of the company as well as legal and statutory compliance.
  • Be responsible for company culture – introduce Epiroc’s vision, values, strategy and ethical code to all employees and inclusion and diversity in all aspects of our activities.
  • Drive company culture: promote Epiroc’s vision, values, strategy, ethical standards, and inclusion & diversity across all activities.
  • Continuously develop the teams to be an agile innovative organization using supportive common systems and team work.
  • Communicate the yearly business plan to the team and clearly define the individual roles and expected contribution, manage perfomance with the support of standard tools – mission statements, VC plans and performance and development reviews in line with the regional procedure.

 

  We are expecting from you

  • Demonstrated growth mindset;
  • Strong leadership capabilities paired with solid business orientation;
  • Structured and analytical approach to problem‑solving;
  • Good  level of diplomatic skiils;
  • Experience in the mining industry considered an advantage;
  • Broad commercial and organizational expertise ;
  • High level of ethical integrity.

 

Your knowledge

  • Significant B2B knowledge; experience from mining and construction is welcome.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English; knowledge of Greek is advantage.
  • Solid computer and presentation skills.

 

Your education

  • University Degree, preferably in a mechanical, business field or similar through experience
