Field Service Technician

Epiroc is looking for a proactive and service‑minded Field Service Technician to join our team in Greece. The position is based in Athens, with frequent and extensive travel to customer sites, primarily to the Skouries and Olympiada mining facilities in Northern Greece.

About the Role

As a Field Service Technician, you will represent Epiroc at customer sites, ensuring high‑quality service, technical support, troubleshooting, and professional communication. You will support our mission to deliver premium service and strengthen our customer relationships.

This role involves very frequent travel to customer locations.


What You Will Do

  • Perform preventive inspections, scheduled and unscheduled repairs, troubleshooting, and other technical interventions on Epiroc equipment.
  • Act as a communication link between customers and the Epiroc Sales & Service teams.
  • Provide customers with technical information, documentation, and professional guidance.
  • Promote Epiroc Parts & Service solutions and share product‑related information.
  • Build long-term relationships with existing customers and identify new opportunities.
  • Assess customer needs and offer tailored service solutions.
  • Prepare and submit all required service reports, job sheets, travel documents, and legally required paperwork accurately and on time.
  • Support the service planning process by providing timely information to internal departments.
  • Participate in internal meetings, training sessions, and company initiatives.
  • Follow all internal Epiroc procedures, QHSE standards, and environmental protection requirements.
  • Use company assets (vehicle, tools, laptop, phone) responsibly, safely, and cost‑consciously.
  • Update internal systems weekly with visit records, correspondence, and service activities.

What You Bring

Experience & Knowledge

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a technical field.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
  • Practical hands‑on experience with machinery or equipment.
  • Good knowledge of English, including technical manuals and communication.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.

Education

  • Technical High School or Polytechnic degree, ideally in Automotive, Mechanical, or Hydraulic Equipment fields.
