Epiroc Hellas recruits a Technical Manager (Surface Drilling & Rock Excavation Equipment) & SHEQ Coordinator (M / F)
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Technical Manager handles technical matters and provide technical support to technicians, customers, sales staff, divisions and product companies, on products marketed by the company under his/her scope of responsibility.
He/she is the Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) coordinator for his/her department, playing an active role in implementing and monitoring the quality, health, safety and environment policy defined in collaboration with General Management and the local SHEQ Manager where applicable.
MAIN MISSIONS:
- Provide internal and external technical product training, mainly for technicians and customers,
- Provide technical advice to technicians and customers,
- Manage and follow warranty claims with product companies,
- Provide technical advice to technicians and customers.
- Carry out recommendations / actions to sell spare parts.
- Monitor and communicate technical developments in product lines.
- Participate in the commissioning of new products,
- Participate in the development of the distributor network in collaboration with the sales teams.
SHEQ coordinator activities:
- Ensures employees are aware of Safety, Health, Environment, Quality (SHEQ) requirements,
- Ensures that necessary SHEQ Management System processes are established, updated and applied,
- Is the company’s Preventive Advisor of the Site for Safety (PASS) and is responsible for:
- Ensuring regulatory monitoring
- Assessing health and safety risks and informing the management when actions are needed.
- Providing training
- Reporting health statistics as required by the Group.
- Providing global recommendations in safety matters and coordinating activities having an impact on health and safety
- Is the Environment Coordinator of the Site (ECS) and is responsible for:
- Coordinating environment safety actions
- Ensuring risk assessment and the review of environment and safety targets
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS :
- 2-year University Degree (Mechanical or Electrical Engineering) or similar through experience
- Pneumatic / hydraulic / electrical / mechanical skills,
- Sales skills,
- Pedagogical and training engineering skills
- In-depth technical knowledge of the equipment managed by the department.
- Significant knowledge of the specific business products and its application
- Significant experience within the construction and mining or related industries.
- Experience in providing solutions to customers
- SHEQ knowledge
- 5 years’ experience in comparable position
- Good command of English written and oral,
- Good computer and presentation skills
- Business financial knowledge
- Valid light vehicule driving licence

- High level of reactivity
- Ability to organize, plan and anticipate.
PLACE OF WORK :
The position will be based in the North of Greece ideally next to Thessaloniki.
Frequent travels throughout Epiroc Hellas S.A. region which includes Greece, Cyprus and Israel, are inherent to the position as well as one-off trips abroad.
