Join Our Team as a Service Center Manager at Epiroc!
As a Service Center Manager, you will lead daily operations to ensure the profitable growth of your service center while safeguarding company assets. This role plays a key role in upholding Epiroc’s reputation for excellence in parts, service, and consumables support. Success in this position requires strong initiative, confident leadership, and the ability to motivate and engage your team. You will build a culture that prioritizes safety, efficiency, and quality while driving exceptional customer satisfaction. Through fostering strong relationships and motivating dedication, you will develop a unified, high-performing team prepared to meet changing demands and deliver lasting results.
The work environment in the mining and construction industries has unique and interesting challenges one won't find in other professions. It is all encompassing, anywhere from office attire one day to working in a rough and rugged environment another day in some of the most beautiful and pristine areas of the world. The work environment includes being regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles and outdoor weather conditions. The employee is regularly required to lift up to 25 pounds, is frequently required to lift up to 50 pounds and is occasionally required to lift up to and in excess of 100 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job. Personal Protection Equipment may be required in this role. The position is considered Safety Sensitive.
Work Type: Onsite, travelling to local customer locations
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies for sustainable, profitable growth with full Profit & Loss responsibility.
- Execute strategic business plans and priorities for target market segments using territory management skills.
- Collaborate closely with capital sales, business line managers, and product company teams to align goals and support initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure loyalty and deliver superior product and post-sale support.
- Demonstrate strong, visible leadership across service centers, within the Epiroc organization, and in interactions with customers.
- Set clear expectations and performance goals for your team, encouraging growth and improvement through effective delegation and shared accountability.
- Lead, develop, and support direct reports through all phases of the employee lifecycle—including recruiting, onboarding, performance management, feedback, training and development, while applying strategic vision to establish effective succession plans.
- Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency at assigned service center locations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the mining or construction aftermarket equipment industry, with parts and services field experience preferred.
- Proven ability in leading, developing, and mentoring teams across the employee lifecycle.
- Strong mechanical and technical background with the ability to analyze problems and explain root causes effectively to customers and internal teams.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and professionally with internal stakeholders and external customers, including delivering presentations and responding to inquiries with confidence and respect.
- Proficient in writing reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals using computer-aided maintenance systems and reporting tools.
- Uphold and promote company standards related to ethics, social responsibility, and environmental sustainability.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to travel as required for the position.
