Your Impact

As the Country Manager for Mali, you'll be at the forefront of our business, responsible for optimizing deliverables across our four key focus areas: Sales & Marketing, Operations (including Workshop), Technical Service, and Training. Reporting directly to the Regional General Manager, you'll be an integral part of our management team, operating with the spirit of "One Region - One Team - United in Growth."

This pivotal role demands a leader who can own the Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet for Mali, driving both financial performance and operational efficiencies. You will be instrumental in executing objectives aligned with Epiroc's group strategy, adding value for our customers, fostering sustained customer loyalty, and generating robust financial growth.

 

Key Contribution

  • Business Operations: Lead and collaborate on all aspects of the business in Mali with Regional Business Line Managers, ensuring efficient operations, profitability, and strict compliance with local regulations.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute country-specific strategies that align seamlessly with Epiroc's global objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Train and lead our local staff, working in partnership with HR and respective Business Lines to cultivate a strong, motivated, and high-performing team.
  • Sales & Business Development: Identify market opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and drive revenue growth through proactive client acquisition and retention efforts.
  • Financial Management: Effectively manage the country's budget, P&L, and forecasting, always seeking to optimize cost structures and enhance profitability.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all operations adhere to legal and ethical boundaries, while maintaining strong relationships with local government, legal bodies, and industry regulators.
  • Brand Representation: Act as the primary face of Epiroc in Mali, professionally representing the brand in media, at events, and with all key stakeholders.
  • Market Analysis: Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sound decision-making and strategic adjustments.

  • Operational Excellence: A proven history of effectively managing day-to-day operations and a strong familiarity with local regulatory, legal, and compliance requirements.

  • Business Development: Proficiency in identifying partnerships, building robust client relationships, and consistently growing revenue, coupled with a track record of successful contract negotiations.
