What's the Role?

• Assisting senior technicians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of Epiroc equipment.
• Focus on basic tasks, troubleshooting, and learning the trade, often under the guidance of more experienced personnel.
• Assist with sub-assembly repairs and machine reconstructions in site shops as required.
• Assist with service contracts with machine services and breakdown repairs if necessary.
• Take responsibility for the safe storage and maintenance of company vehicles/tools and equipment in your custody.
• SAFETY; Zero Tolerance to incidents and accidents.

What does the role involve?

• Assisting repair of breakdowns on equipment at the service contract and Workshops
• Assisting maintenance and services on equipment at the service contract
• Assisting troubleshooting system problems and the repair on customers machines
• Assisting in 5S duties on field Jobs and Workshops
• Be part of the safety program and good housekeeping
• Time keeping as per company rules and regulations
• Expected to assist in other areas/divisions in the company when needed.

What you need is:

• Stronge Technical background in Electrical and Mechanical
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to interpretate Blueprint hydraulic, Electric and Pneumatic Schematics
• Knowledge and understanding of CANBUS (RCS) System is a Plus
• Good knowledge on mining equipment
• Interpersonal skills to work as part of the team.
• Be presentable to customers in grooming and dress code.
• Knowledge on Microsoft Windows (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
