Business Controller

Position Objective
The Mission of the Business Controller is to always have excellent business data, analytical tools, and analytical skills, this will ensure state-of-the-art support to general management in controlling business risks and responding to business opportunities.
- Through accurate, relevant, and timely business & financial analysis, support general management and business lines in making effective business decisions.
- To ensure that adequate internal control processes are in place and that Group processes are implemented.
- To raise “red flags” to operational and/or holding management whenever compliance with sound business principles is at risk.
Job description or Key Responsibilities
- Monitor the consolidated financial performance of the company and ensure financial reporting and accounting practices comply with the Epiroc Way, company procedures and local legal requirements.
- Development and implement reporting and forecasting processes in alignment with divisional requirements.
- Manage cash flow and be proactive in the company's financial planning process including analysis and follow-up of working capital and investments in fixed assets
- Ensure company relevant policies and procedures are developed, implemented and maintained. Safeguard Internal controls in accordance with the Epiroc way. Coordinate internal and external audits locally, taking proactive mitigation actions to minimize risks
- Partner with management to develop strategies and processes to achieve business objectives. Prepare and deliver financial reports, scorecards, and presentations for business and CRM reviews. Actively participate in key business activities and company-wide initiatives to advance organizational goals.
- Support Business Line Managers in securing secure P&L and Balance Sheet for their respective business line. Assist General Manager in ensuring overall entity-level P&L & Balance Sheet integrity.
- Proactively identify and escalate red flags, ensuring corrective actions are defined and implemented.
- Lead credit control activities, supervising credit management and collection activities.
- Act as a strong promoter of new ways of working within responsible area, driving efficiency and innovation.
Knowledge & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in auditing, financial analysis, and reporting, ideally within multinational or industrial sectors.
- Strong command of English with excellent analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in people management
- Detail oriented and works with a high degree of accuracy, motivated by quality and excellence
