Job Purpose

The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving sustainable and profitable business growth for the Surface Division across the NSEA region. The role focuses on developing and executing strategic business initiatives, strengthening market positioning, managing and developing assigned territories, expanding key customer relationships, and identifying new growth opportunities across products, solutions, services, and applications.

The incumbent will play a strategic role in shaping regional business direction, supporting long-term commercial objectives, optimizing territory performance, and ensuring alignment with divisional and global business strategies to maximize customer value and market competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business growth strategies for the NSEA region to drive revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion.
  • Manage and develop assigned territories by identifying growth opportunities, strengthening market presence, and ensuring effective customer coverage across the region.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities, strategic projects, and partnerships within the Surface Division.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, OEMs, contractors, and business partners to strengthen long-term collaboration and customer retention.
  • Provide technical and commercial solutions that address customer needs and support business growth.
  • Support commercial negotiations, pricing strategies, and contract agreements in alignment with regional business objectives.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities, and provide strategic market insights and recommendations to management.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Customer Centers to ensure successful project execution and high customer satisfaction.
  • Support the introduction and commercialization of new technologies, products, and services within the region.
  • Maintain accurate forecasts, sales pipelines, territory performance, and CRM data, and provide regular business performance updates.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, SHEQ standards, and ethical business practices.
  • Closely working and supporting appointed distributors to grow the business.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5–10 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Commercial Management, or Territory Management.
  • Experience in industrial solutions, surface technologies, or related industries is preferred.
  • Regional or multinational business experience is an advantage.
