Regional HR & SHEQ Manager, Epiroc North Southeast Asia (NSEA) Region

 

Mission

In this role, you shall support Epiroc North Southeast Asia-NSEA Regional General Manager and the local management team to develop a high performing leadership team and organization. You shall be responsible for planning and executing the people management & SHEQ strategies in line with the Epiroc Group and local business strategies. This position reports to NSEA Regional General Manager.

 

Main responsibilities

  • Work closely with Regional General Manager and the local management team to design and execute HR & SHEQ strategies that are in line with the Group strategy in the region and to support the business development.
  • Work closely with the divisional HR VP and other relevant stakeholders to ensure the transparent communication and execution of divisional and Group policy, standards and programs in the region.
  • Lead the HR & SHEQ function to:
    • Advice and provide guidance to managers at all levels on people management & EHS processes and activities according to the Epiroc Way, to secure that the organization is developed in a safe, healthy, and sustainable way
    • Implement and optimize the hire-to-retire practices to secure the effective acquisition, retention and development of talents based on business plan and competence needs
    • Implement the Epiroc safety, health and environment standards, tools and best practices across Epiroc companies in the region, in line with the Group standards and local rules, to ensure meeting the business and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate with management team to implement necessary change initiatives through a solid change management process
  • Strengthen the Epiroc culture and values through Group and local programs or activities; develop employee communication channel, strengthen employee engagement.
  • Maintain good relation with local government and community to communicate and promote the Epiroc brand.
  • Manage the design and delivery of internal communication channel, including newsletters, noticeboards, to ensure the communication of clear and timely to employees.
  • Manage the office administration activities and non-core purchasing in a cost-efficient, transparent way, while taking care of the employees’ voices

 

Knowledge & Educational Requirements

  • Excellent knowledge of human resources  processes and tools
  • Familiar with SHEQ requirements: control department’s running risks.
  • Bachelor degree or above, major in human recourse management, management etc. related area, or equivalent by experience
  • Fluency in English and Thai language

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years of HR experience with 2 years or more being in a managerial position
  • Preferably, experience with SHEQ and office administration

Personality Requirements

  • The idea candidate shall have a mature personality with commitment, integrity, and proved leadership
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization as well as with external partners.
