Job Summary 

The PSD Operations Manager – NSEA is responsible for leading and optimizing Parts & Services (PSD) operations across the NSEA region. The role ensures safe, efficient, and profitable service execution while strengthening customer partnerships and driving operational excellence across NSEA. It translates global PSD strategy into effective regional execution, focusing on safety leadership, financial performance, digital transformation, workforce capability development, and sustainable aftermarket growth. 

In addition, the role holds responsibility for Indirect Sales and Service performance related to PSD within NSEA, ensuring alignment, capability development, dealer performance management, and profitable aftermarket growth through distributor and partner networks. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

 

Regional Operational Leadership 

  • Lead PSD service operations across NSEA including field service, workshops, planning, and technical support. 

  • Ensure consistent service quality and standardized processes across all countries in the region. 

  • Optimize regional workforce deployment, technician productivity, and operational efficiency. 

  • Drive execution discipline and service performance management across multiple markets. 

  • Ensure operational alignment between direct and indirect service structures across NSEA. 

Indirect Sales & Service Responsibility (PSD Scope) 

  • Take regional responsibility for PSD-related Indirect Sales performance across NSEA. 

  • Drive aftermarket revenue growth, service contract penetration, and parts business performance through distributor networks. 

  • Ensure alignment of PSD service standards, processes, KPIs, and governance within dealer and partner organizations. 

  • Monitor and manage performance of indirect channels, ensuring profitability, compliance, and operational excellence. 

  • Collaborate with regional and local Sales teams to define and execute PSD growth strategies in indirect markets. 

  • Develop indirect service capability, technical competence, and operational maturity across partner networks. 

Safety & Compliance (SHEQ) 

  • Champion a zero-harm safety culture across all PSD operations within NSEA. 

  • Ensure compliance with local regulations in each country and company SHEQ standards. 

  • Monitor and improve safety KPIs through proactive risk management. 

 

Financial & P&L Management 

  • Contribute to and support NSEA PSD operational P&L performance. 

  • Drive sustainable profitability through cost control and margin optimization across countries and indirect channels. 

  • Monitor service KPIs including gross margin, cost absorption, WIP, contract performance, and dealer performance metrics. 

  • Ensure financial discipline and transparency across direct and indirect operations. 

Strategy Execution & Digital Transformation 

  • Implement global PSD initiatives across NSEA including automation, digital tools, and connected equipment solutions. 

  • Drive adoption of field-service platforms and predictive maintenance technologies across direct and indirect networks. 

  • Support development and execution of advanced service models and long-term service agreements. 

Workforce & Capability Development 

  • Develop and execute a regional PSD capability roadmap across NSEA. 

  • Strengthen technician competencies through structured training and certification programs across countries and partner networks. 

  • Support talent development, succession planning, and performance management across the region. 

Continuous Improvement 

  • Drive Lean implementation and operational standardization across NSEA. 

  • Improve service productivity, planning accuracy, and first-time fix rate regionally. 

  • Enhance reporting transparency and operational data utilization across countries and indirect partners.

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical field (Master’s preferred). 

  • 10–15 years of experience in service operations within heavy equipment, mining, or industrial sectors. 

  • Minimum 5 years in a senior operational leadership role with regional exposure. 

  • Proven experience managing multi-country technical teams and dealer networks. 

  • Strong P&L management and financial acumen. 

  • Experience managing indirect sales or distributor business models is highly preferred. 

  • Experience with digital service tools or connected equipment solutions preferred. 

  • Fluent in Thai and English. 

  • Experience in multinational environments is an advantage.
