Technical Support Specialist

Job Summary
To provide on-site technical support and capability development for dealer service teams at Laos mining sites. The role ensures high equipment reliability, consistent service standards, and strengthens dealer competency by guiding, coaching, and enabling them to deliver Epiroc-standard service to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide and coach dealer service teams to develop technical capability and adherence to Epiroc standards
- Provide hands-on technical support for troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs of mining equipment
- Assist dealers in major repairs, overhauls, and commissioning activities
- Coordinate with factory and regional technical teams for complex technical issues
- Monitor machine performance and advise improvements to dealers and customers
- Ensure correct implementation of Epiroc service standards and best practices at dealer sites
- Support dealer compliance with safety procedures and operational guidelines
- Prepare technical reports, document training activities, and maintain records of dealer performance
- Collaborate with Parts team to ensure availability of critical spare parts for dealer support
- Facilitate knowledge transfer and share technical expertise with dealer teams
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related field
- 3–8 years of experience in mining, heavy equipment, or field service support
- Experience in guiding, coaching, or training dealer or field service teams preferred
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills in Thai and English
- Willingness to work on-site in Laos and travel as needed
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, service systems)
