Automation Delivery Lead

Position Summary
The Automation Delivery Lead is responsible for driving the successful delivery and continuous development of Epiroc's automation capabilities. The role serves as the bridge between business stakeholders, technical teams, and service providers to ensure that automation initiatives deliver measurable business value and support Epiroc's strategic objectives.
Through strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and delivery governance, the Automation Delivery Lead ensures that automation services are planned, prioritized, implemented, and continuously improved in alignment with business needs and enterprise standards.
Key Responsibilities
Automation Delivery Management
- Lead and coordinate the end-to-end delivery of automation initiatives and services.
- Ensure automation projects are executed according to agreed scope, timelines, quality standards, and business expectations.
- Manage priorities, dependencies, risks, and resource requirements across multiple initiatives.
- Monitor delivery performance and drive corrective actions when required.
Business and Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders and automation delivery teams.
- Facilitate collaboration between business, IT, architecture, security, operations, and external partners.
- Understand business needs and translate them into actionable automation initiatives.
- Build trusted relationships and ensure stakeholder alignment throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Automation Strategy and Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities where automation can improve efficiency, quality, compliance, and business value.
- Contributes to the development and execution of the automation roadmap.
- Promote best practices, standards, and governance within the automation domain.
- Drive continuous improvement of processes, tools, and ways of working.
Vendor and Service Management
- Collaborate with internal and external service providers to ensure effective delivery and support.
- Participate in planning, forecasting, and prioritization of automation-related initiatives.
- Support budget management and resource planning activities within the automation area.
Governance and Compliance
- Ensure automation solutions comply with Epiroc standards, security requirements, and applicable regulations.
- Support risk management, documentation, operational readiness, and service transition activities.
- Ensure appropriate governance and reporting mechanisms are maintained.
Required Competencies and Experience
- 2 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Proven experience leading automation, RPA, or digital transformation initiatives in a complex enterprise environment.
- Strong understanding of automation technologies and automation delivery frameworks.
- Experience managing projects, services, or delivery portfolios involving multiple stakeholders and teams.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence without direct authority.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in global and multicultural environments.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and continuous improvement practices
