Manager - Electrification

Job Description:

We are now looking for an experienced and qualified candidate with the main mission to work as Manager - Electrification.

Mission: 

As Manager – Electrification in EITC, you will have the full responsibility to maintain the team and deliverables. You will be working closely with EES divisional teams, aligning and integrating EITC teams seamlessly ensuring sustainable growth, high quality delivery and innovation outcomes.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Manage the teams by ensuring the collaboration with divisional teams, resolve bottlenecks and also by ensuring on-time deliverables and quality.
• Developing competence and recruiting new talents to meet current and future needs.
• Explore the innovation opportunities at IITMRP, other labs to develop advance technologies for Electrification products.   
• Work with global EES  team to further develop competence portfolio focusing on innovation.
• Ensuring stakeholder satisfaction and business growth by thinking new and being innovative
• Ensuring effective recruitment at site based on divisional needs and building a sustainable high performing organization and talent pipelines
• Work with HR for all recruitments for EES engineering and be significant contributor for training and reducing the time to develop new competence
• Interact with customers on a regular basis, identify and address the needs
• Motivate, coach and mentor the team to realize the goals
• Always look for areas to improve, discuss and implement plans to realize continuous
• Improvement along with management team
• Focusing on effectiveness, efficiency and operational excellence
• Be aware of emerging trends in market and proactively seek ways to integrate innovative technologies into Epiroc products.
• Developing and supporting a spirit of open communication in all areas of operations

• Following and ensuring compliance to Epiroc Code of Conduct, policies and values
• Demonstrate commitment to Epiroc policies, values, and ethical standards, fostering a culture of integrity and professionalism
• Identify potential opportunities in India to create scalable and optimized solutions for electrification products
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and industry best practices is added advantage
• Experience with battery design, charger design, BESS is a plus

Experience Requirement:

• Minimum of 15 years of proven experience in handling bigger teams
• Experience from the Electrification/Mining/HV industry and project management is a plus
• Experience of handling global internal customers with a strong customer focus
• Bachelors in Mechanical, Electrical
• Good command over English language

This position is located in Bangalore/Chennai, India.
