Job Description:

The Product Owner - SDV will drive end-to-end ownership of SDV-related components and capabilities, with a strong focus on OTA/FOTA, vehicle software platforms, and automation systems. This role bridges business, engineering, and customer needs, ensuring delivery of high-value, high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and manage the product backlog for SDV components (OTA/FOTA, platform services, diagnostics, etc.)
• Translate business and system requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria
• Work closely with architects and engineering teams to define roadmaps and priorities
• Ensure alignment with SDV architecture, safety, and quality goals
• Act as primary interface with stakeholders for scope, priorities, and delivery expectations
• Drive continuous improvement and value-based delivery
  
  

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant engineering fields (e.g., Electronics, Mechatronics, Robotics, Computer Science) with 10 to 13 years of professional experience

• Strong experience as a Product Owner or Technical Product Manager
• Solid understanding of SDV concepts, OTA/FOTA, and embedded software systems
• Ability to work with C++/Python/Linux-based engineering teams
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
• Experience working with dockers and containerization technology.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and decision-making skills
  
  

Nice to Have:

• AUTOSAR Adaptive, SOME/IP, DDS
• Automotive Ethernet
• Working knowledge of automotive diagnostic protocols (UDS, DoIP, SOVD) optionally with practical exposure
• Exposure to Functional Safety (e.g., ISO 26262) and Cybersecurity practices (e.g. ISO/SAE 21434, CRA)
