Job Description:

• This position requires a professional engineer who can be an integral part of building team, supporting the Production Preparation team. The main responsibilities include the following:

Responsibilities:

• Study and understand the changes in change notifications.
• Implement the engineering changes in ERP system.
• Acknowledge and approve the change notifications.
• Identify and create the purchase levels.
• Updating the structures as per the change notifications in the ERP system.
• Create change notifications with purchase level articles in Supplier Collaboration Portal (SCP).
• Update documentation in SCP.
• Proactively inform suppliers and all stakeholders on new releases and engineering updates.
• Respond in a timely manner to urgent sourcing and supplier requests.
• To carry out all assigned tasks as necessary to achieve desired results and meet departmental goals.
• Create and update different types of custom Kit solutions in ERP system.
• Provide regular status updates to Project leader / Team Manager

Knowledge and Experience:

• At least 3-5 Years experience in M3 / ERP handling supplier module and well versed with different mashups.
• At least 1-2 Years’ experience in any PLM software.
• Experience in handling and maintaining master data.
• Experience from relevant industry application – e.g., Mining Equipment / Automotive, or other relevant application preferred.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes and be able to create solutions.

Education:

• BE / BTech in Mechanical Engineering / equivalent
