  • Perform engineering calculations ensuring designs meet functionality, safety, and manufacturability standards.
  • Coordinate cross-functional collaboration to integrate vehicle packaging and system integration requirements.
  • Prepare accurate 2D and 3D CAD models, weldments, sheet metal components, and assembly drawings using Creo or SolidWorks.
  • Engage actively with PLM/PDM systems to manage product lifecycle and revision control.
  • Implement design for manufacturing and assembly principles to optimize cost efficiency and production quality.
  • Understand and apply GD&T standards and manage tolerance stack-ups to ensure component compatibility and reliability.
  • Plan work efficiently to meet project deadlines, maintaining a high-quality standard throughout all deliverables.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by proposing value-added processes within the department.
  • Uphold Epiroc’s core values of integrity, open global culture, and collaboration while fostering teamwork and knowledge sharing.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Experience working with PLM/PDM systems is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of design for manufacturing and assembly methodologies.
  • Capability to create weldments, detailed assembly drawings, and sheet metal designs.
  • Working knowledge of GD&T standards and tolerance analysis.
  • Familiarity with vehicle integration and packaging principles.

Desired Behaviors and Attributes
