Senior System Administrator – PLM Engineering, Epiroc

We are now looking for a System Administrator with deep knowledge in Siemens Teamcenter to strengthen our team.

Your mission

As a System Administrator at Epiroc Operations Solutions in the PLM Engineering Team, you will play a key role in ensuring the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of our Siemens Teamcenter environment.

You will manage system configurations, maintain integrations, and support end-users to ensure reliable and efficient PLM operations.

Your main responsibilities include:

· Deploying, configuring, administrating, and maintaining the Siemens Teamcenter platform

· Monitoring and ensuring performance, availability, and security of PLM systems

· Creating and maintaining installation packages for distribution to users

· Supporting upgrades, patches, and integrations in close collaboration with IT and Engineering teams.

· Troubleshooting issues, analyzing root causes, and implementing preventive solutions

· Work with Siemens Support to troubleshoot complex issues related to the Epiroc customized installation of Teamcenter

· Automating administrative tasks through scripting (PowerShell, Shell, or Python)

· Documenting configurations, processes, and best practices

· Participating in agile ceremonies and actively contributing to continuous improvement

This role is part of an agile, cross-functional team within Epiroc’s Operations Solutions organization, where collaboration and proactive problem-solving are key.

Your profile

To succeed in this role, you have:

· Deep knowledge of Siemens Teamcenter and experience in PLM administration

· Familiarity with Windows Server environments and databases (e.g. SQL)

· At least basic scripting skills (PowerShell, Shell, or Python) for automation and maintenance

· Good understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and security principles

· Experience working in agile teams and comfort with iterative, collaborative development

· A structured, responsible, and proactive mindset – you take initiative, see what needs to be done, and make it happen

· Strong teamwork and communication skills; you lead yourself and inspire others through your actions

· Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required
