Be an integral part of our safety culture, approaching all aspects of work with a safety-first attitude. · Execution of the design projects or tasks which include § Collection and study of inputs and clarifications § Preparation and checking of the design concepts and design proposals § Performing and approving design calculations as required § Design of components and sub-systems with guidance from senior colleagues § Check the drawings, BOM & CN before sending to customer. § Keep customer posted about project status time to time. § Send out the output after the review § Value addition and suggestions for improvements as applicable § Interaction with customers and colleagues § Following the design procedures, instructions, and standards § Addressing the customer queries and handling customer feedback · Performing internal reviews and external design reviews · Handling NPD & Product Maintenance projects · Interact with production team / supplier to resolve assembly / manufacturing issues.
· Project Management (multiple projects & single location): § Receiving and studying the job § Planning, Estimation, and tracking § Effective communication with project stakeholder § Project closure report. § Closure and Analysing the customer feedback · Drive Project pulse meeting. · Coach junior colleagues on CAD tools, Design tools (eg. DFMEA) products, application, and technology · Develop in depth knowledge on at least on product line and be go-to person for the product and application. · Reporting to the Manager in a timely and efficient manner · Complying to company policies and follow company values and business code of practice
Experience Requirements:
· Minimum 6-10 years for BE / BTech/ME/MTech
Education:
· BE / BTech – Mechanical/Automobile Engineering
· Hands on Experience in Creo, Acad.
· Experience working on PLM systems
Knowledge Requirement:
· Good knowledge of design and release process.
· Basic Knowledge of manufacturing processes
· Good knowledge on CAD tool / 3D routing / GD&T/ PLM system
· Knowledge of design standards & Welding
· Experience with mining equipment or heavy-duty vehicles · Good project management knowledge · Basic people management knowledge · Understanding of electrical circuits and controls · Ability to design schematics · Advanced controls experience · Basic knowledge of BEV systems and components · Experience designing prototypes · CANbus experience will be an added advantage
