Job Title - Sr. PLM Test Engineer/Scrum Master

The mission of the PLM Tester (Manufacturing) is to ensure the seamless integrity and performance of the Siemens Teamcenter environment as it supports our global manufacturing operations. You will act as the final gatekeeper of quality, ensuring that complex data transitions from engineering design to the shop floor are flawless, reliable, and user-centric. As a PLM Tester, your role involves collaborating with team members to develop Teamcenter solutions that meet the organization's business requirements within defined frameworks.

Job Responsibility
- End-to-End Validation: Execute functional, regression, and integration testing specifically for Teamcenter Manufacturing modules such as MPP, BOP
- Agile Integration: Actively participate in Sprint ceremonies, translating User Stories into robust test cases and ensuring "Definition of Done" criteria are met.
- Defect Lifecycle Management: Identify, log, and prioritize bugs using tools like Jira/Azure DevOps, collaborating with developers to verify fixes.
- Process Optimization: Partner with Business Analysts to understand manufacturing workflows and suggest improvements to the PLM system based on testing insights.
- Automation Strategy: Identify repetitive test scenarios and work toward implementing automated scripts to increase testing efficiency and coverage.
Competences, Skills and Experience:
- PLM Technical Expertise: At least 5 years of experience with Siemens Teamcenter (both Rich Client and Active Workspace).
- Knowledge of Manufacturing Process Planning (MPP) is essential.
- Domain Knowledge: A solid understanding of manufacturing lifecycles, including routings, work instructions, and change management (ECN/ECR).
- Agile Proficiency: Experience working in Scrum or Kanban teams, with the ability to handle shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Testing Rigor: Mastery of test management tools and methodology (STLC). Experience in Test Automation (e.g., Selenium, Teamcenter Test Tool) is highly preferred.
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to troubleshoot complex data issues and understand the "Digital Thread" connecting various engineering systems.
- You are a team player who can work with multi-cultural teams i.e., working effectively within a team, collaborating with colleagues from various IT disciplines across the globe, and fostering a positive work environment.
- You are proactive and have good problem-solving skills.
- The job requires a lot of collaboration both internally and externally so good interpersonal and communications skills are a prerequisite to be successful in the role.
- Additionally, you should be self-going and has natural solver instincts with drive and independence.
