Team Manager – Electrical Infrastructure

Mission:

 

As a Team Manager – Electrical Infrastructure in EITC, you will have the full responsibility to maintain the team and deliverables. You will be working closely with EES divisional teams, aligning and integrating EITC teams seamlessly ensuring sustainable growth, high quality delivery and innovation outcomes.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead the design and development of electrical infrastructure systems as part of Epiroc product platforms, including:
    • LV/MV power distribution
    • Switchgear, transformers, and protection systems
    • Earthing, bonding, and grounding concepts
    • Interfaces to charging systems, drives, and energy sources (where applicable)
  • Ensure designs are optimized for performance, safety, manufacturability, serviceability, and lifecycle cost
  • Review electrical architecture and system-level design decisions for assigned products
  • Work with HR for all recruitments for EES engineering and be significant contributor for training and reducing the time to develop new competence
  • Interact with customers on a regular basis, identify and address the needs
  • Motivate, coach and mentor the team to realize the goals
  • Always look for areas to improve, discuss and implement plans to realize continuous

Improvement along with management team

  • Focusing on effectiveness, efficiency and operational excellence
  • Be aware of emerging trends in the mining electrification market and advancement of infrastructure products
  • Developing and supporting a spirit of open communication in all areas of operations

  • Demonstrate commitment to Epiroc policies, values, and ethical standards, fostering a culture of integrity and professionalism
  • Identify potential opportunities in India to create scalable and optimized solutions for electrical infrastructure products
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and industry best practices is added advantage
  • Good knowledge of creating project performance report, KPI dash board

Experience Requirement:

  • Minimum of 10+ years of proven experience in handling bigger teams
  • Experience from the Electrification/Mining/HV industry and project management is a plus
  • Excellent underrating of mining substation design, e-house, starter panel and gate end box is added advantage
  • Understanding of AS/NZS 61439 and equivalent UL/CSA is a plus
  • Experience of handling global internal customers with a strong customer focus
  • Bachelors in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
  • Good command over English language
