Aftersales Engineer

Job Description:

• Promote and generate Parts and Services sales.
• To market and promote all Parts, Services and Products to customers and to support the growth of the Parts and Service Department.
• To provide technical support services to Internal and External Customers.
• Receive and assist all sales related call and assist the clients promptly.
• Educate customers on the product range and offer product related solutions.
• Receive and assist in processing orders on behalf of the customers in an efficient and accurate manner, as well as providing order status updates.
• Respond to customer emails in a professional manner.
• Provide management with sales reports and pipeline using a systematic tool on a weekly/monthly basis.
• Maintain timely flow of information from Customers to all concerned.
• Develop strong relationships with customers and demonstrate how we can add value to their business.
• Training assistance.
• To provide technical support to internal departments and service contract staff.
• To assist with the administration and management of consignment stock warehouses in assigned areas.
• To compile and maintain databases of Epiroc equipment operating in the market and provide input for a machine database and Fleet Management System.
• Set-up of Monthly Management Meetings with Strategic Customers.
• All other duties involving MRS business to assist with profitable growth.
• Provide feedback to Management or other divisions on all matters relating to product deficiencies and product development needs and activities.
• Manage, coach, train and lead employees in a fashion that is consistent with our company culture and philosophy. 
• Foster practices within the company that are consistent with its values and beliefs.
• Provide leadership to the organisation in terms of operational conduct and business culture.
• Support the sales force in their selling efforts.  This may include the preparation of major quotations, product application studies and sales support material.
• Act on behalf of peer group members in their absence as and when called upon to do so by either design or circumstance. 
• Work closely to support each other in pursuit of common goals and objectives.\
• Support the Manager in all aspects of business operations.

• Any other tasks that maybe assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

• Graduate of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or any related Vocational/Technical courses.
• Good technical knowledge related to Epiroc products of Parts and Services Division.

• Computer Literate.

• Effective written and spoken communication skills.
• Experience in Customer Service, marketing and good interpersonal skills.
• Good planning and organizational skills are required.
• An ability to work unsupervised at set standards.
• Be willing to travel as and when required in the performance of his/her duties and training.
• Technical knowledge of Epiroc Mining and Rock Excavation Technique products
• Having valid driver’s license and passport.
