JOB RESPONPONSIBILITIES:

•    Serve as the primary local contact for employee relations, ensuring respectful and compliant communication and engagement.
•    Disseminate HR updates and policies from the regional and Epiroc Group levels to local employees, ensuring consistency and clarity.
•    Gather and forward employee feedback to the Regional HR Manager, providing insights based on local benchmarks.
•    Enforce the local Employee Code of Discipline and employee handbook, ensuring consistent policy application.
•    Monitor compliance with HR policies and report deviations to the regional HR team.
•    Support the contextual adaptation of regional HR initiatives to align with local labor conditions.
•    Stay informed on Philippine labor laws and regulations from DOLE, SSS, BIR, Pag-IBIG, PHIC, and OSHA, ensuring full legal compliance.
•    Collaborate with SHEQ to integrate safety and health policies in line with DOLE and OSHA standards.
•    Promote Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) in all HR practices.
•    Represent the company during labor inspections, audits, and reporting to government agencies.
•    Act as the main contact for payroll, managing monthly processes, overtime, government contributions, and benefit payments.
•    Ensure timely, accurate payroll and compensation administration.
•    Support local remuneration surveys and market benchmarking initiatives.
•    Brief employees on compensation packages and benefits.
•    Maintain up-to-date records with statutory bodies and private insurance partners.
•    Monitor and advise on legislative or market changes affecting compensation and benefits.
•    Lead the implementation of Epiroc's performance cycle locally, including planning, mid-year, and annual reviews.
•    Partner with the regional team to apply tools that support employee growth and succession planning.
•    Ensure accessible development support and clear communication on performance expectations.
•    Assist managers in identifying training needs and align them with available learning solutions.
•    Track training completion and maintain updated records for audits and improvement.
•    Address staffing needs through manpower forecasting and aligned recruitment processes.
•    Maintain updated job descriptions with hiring managers, detailing responsibilities and KPIs.
•    Manage end-to-end recruitment-from posting to onboarding-ensuring legal and policy compliance.
•    Oversee internal mobility including transfers and promotions with transparency and equity.
•    Prepare employment contracts and offer letters in line with Epiroc and legal standards.
•    Build academic partnerships to enhance talent pipelines and employer branding.
•    Coordinate onboarding programs to support integration, culture orientation, and productivity.
•    Align onboarding with cross-functional support (IT, admin, finance, etc.) for a smooth start.
•    Manage offboarding procedures including clearance, exit interviews, and documentation, capturing feedback for retention efforts.
•    Maintain accurate employee records in HR:Link, including pay, history, training, and performance.
•    Uphold HR data quality, security, and compliance with internal and legal standards.
•    Submit updates to insurance providers and government bodies for changes in employment status.
•    Provide HR data support for audits, actuarial reviews, and regional evaluations.
•    Support the Regional HR Manager in adapting and deploying regional policies and initiatives.
•    Contribute to regional HR projects, workshops, and alignment activities.
•    Recommend process improvements and support automation or simplification of local HR practices.
•    Track HR trends in the Philippine market and share insights to inform regional planning.
•    Promote a high-performance, inclusive, and development-driven workplace culture.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

•    Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or any related field.
•    Additional certifications in labor law, compensation & benefits, or organizational development are an advantage
•    At least 5 years of progressive experience in HR operations and generalist roles, preferably in a multinational or regional setup.
•    Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and interact effectively with remote regional teams.
•    Experience in compensation benchmarking, performance systems, and local labor compliance management is highly desirable.
