Service Analyst – Financial Performance & Operations
Parts and Service Division (PSD)
Purpose of the Role
To close the critical gap in early financial insight and root-cause analysis within the first 48 hours post-reporting close, this role will serve as the analytical backbone for service operations, CGP deviations, and workshop performance. The Service Analyst will bridge Finance, Operations, and Strategy to deliver actionable insights, automate reporting, and support strategic decision-making across the PSD network.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Insight & Root-Cause Analysis
- Collaborate with Finance during month-end closings to extract early signals and deviations in CGP and service profitability.
- Analyze service, workshop, and parts sales performance in relation to service agreements, with a focus on CGP trends and anomalies.
- Conduct variance analysis and profitability diagnostics across regions (EMEA, APAC, NASA).
2. Operational Linkage & Workshop Strategy
- Connect financial outcomes with operational KPIs such as workshop utilization, capacity planning, and labor efficiency.
- Monitor and benchmark service operations KPIs.
3. Investment Performance Tracking & Follow-Up
- Lead the development and implementation of a systematic, data-driven framework to track investment performance across all PSD HUBs.
- Identify and map all ongoing and recently approved investment-related projects with owner, timeline, assumptions, and expected ROI.
- Establish quarterly checkpoints to review actual vs. forecast (costs, revenues, ROI).
- Create a standardized review template and integrate it into BI dashboards for visibility and trend analysis.
- Collaborate with HUB management to validate data accuracy and support proactive deviation analysis.
4. Business Case & Investment Oversight
- Lead the KPI review, and post-evaluation of business cases for service investments (service agreements, workshops).
- Track labor rate adjustments, revenue targets, and CGP performance against approved business cases.
5. Governance, Compliance & Training
- Support internal audits, certification processes, and compliance monitoring at the workshop level.
- Administer systems such as CEFA and the WS and SA dashboard.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Finance, Business Analytics.
- Experience in service operations, financial analysis, or business performance roles beneficial.
- Proficiency in Power BI, Excel, and ERP systems.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally across global teams.
