Epiroc Australia is seeking experienced Auto Electrician to join our team based at Boddington Gold Mine, working on a 7 days on / 7 days off rotation day shift and night shift DIDO roster.
This role will provide you with an opportunity to continue enhancing your Epiroc equipment skills, knowledge and experience whilst being able to work on a client site that has both workshop and surface mining exposure. Be part of a team that has a great culture and supportive environment.
Responsibilities of this role consists of but are not limited to the below:
- Understand and comply with Epiroc and Customer OH&S requirements, policies and procedures
- Perform maintenance and repairs to equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Diagnose and fault find mechanical and electrical problems
- Service equipment as required
- Work collaboratively with all team members and stakeholders
Ideally, you will possess the following experience and qualifications:
- Auto electrical maintenance knowledge and experience, preferably in the mining industry
- Relevant Trade Auto Electrical qualification
- Refrigerant Handling Licence
- Surface drill experience will be highly regarded
- An unrelenting safety focus
- Strong customer service orientation
- Excellent communication skills
- Problem-solving ability, diagnostic and trouble shooting skills
- Ability to handle and work under pressure
- The ability to work alone and in a team environment
