We are currently seeking an experienced Product Support Advisor - Surface Drills to join our team in Boddington, Western Australia. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a highly skilled and collaborative team, providing technical support across Epiroc's advanced surface drill fleet and automation technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Site Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Adhering to all Epiroc and client health, safety, and environmental procedures
  • Performing machine modifications, upgrades, and installations on new equipment
  • Diagnosing, repairing, rebuilding, and servicing customer equipment
  • Conducting component rebuilds and major repairs
  • Troubleshooting and resolving complex mechanical, electrical, and automation-related issues
  • Providing technical expertise to support preventative maintenance strategies
  • Identifying and implementing initiatives to reduce repeat component failures and improve equipment reliability
  • Supporting automation technology rollouts and associated network requirements
  • Managing software updates and machine parameters to support automation systems
  • Providing technical support for Autonomous Drill System (ADS) and SmartROC/Epiroc drill technologies
  • Supporting AD2 applications and site automation initiatives
  • Providing technical support for LinkOA and other automation platforms
  • Assisting with Bench Remote and Tele-Remote drilling operations
  • Supporting Common Automation Panel (CAP) systems for ADS and SED operations

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Proven experience with Epiroc Surface Drills, including SED and ADS platforms
  • Strong product knowledge across surface drilling equipment and automation technologies
  • A Heavy Mobile Equipment Trade Qualification or equivalent mechanical trade
  • Well-developed diagnostic, fault-finding, and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication and customer relationship management skills
  • The ability to prioritise and perform under pressure in a fast-paced mining environment
  • Strong report writing and technical documentation skills
  • Sound computer literacy and experience using digital maintenance systems
  • A proactive approach to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement
