What you’ll do

  • Drive business development and commercialisation of the Plan and Operate Digital Solutions portfolio, identifying new opportunities and working towards ambitious order and revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision makers — both technical and business — at current and prospective clients, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor who deeply understands their challenges and the ROI of Epiroc's digital solutions.
  • Lead the full sales cycle from initial customer contact through to deal close, including preparing detailed proposals, RFP responses, and quotations that align with the product portfolio and exceed customer expectations.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies focused on customer segmentation, market intelligence, and competitor analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and maximise Epiroc's market position.
  • Identify and develop industry partnerships that advance mutual growth objectives and strengthen Epiroc's position within the broader digital ecosystem.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with regional sales teams, product centres, engineers, and global marketing to create lead-generating activities, surface synergies, and deliver winning, value-added solutions for customers.
  • Provide continuous market and customer feedback to product developers, while actively reporting on customer requirements, trends, and opportunities to internal stakeholders.
  • Manage pipeline and forecasting through Salesforce CRM, delivering accurate monthly, quarterly, and yearly forecasts to support business planning and decision-making.

 

What you’ll bring

  • A degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Engineering and/or a degree in Business Administration in combination with working experience within a technical environment.
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in sales/business development for software / digital solutions in B2B with a proven record of success.
  • Solid experience with interacting with and consulting customers on complex technical solutions.
  • Applicants who have sound business development experience within the Southern African mining sector will be preferred.
