Learning and Development Coordinator
Mission of the role:
As a Learning and Development Coordinator at Epiroc, you will be a vital part of shaping a culture of continuous learning across the Sub-Sahara region, impacting approximately 3,000 employees across 13 countries. Your role will be instrumental in the administration, coordination, and enhancement of diverse learning activities and initiatives supporting the strategic goals of the organization.
You will ensure excellent learner experiences by managing all aspects of learning coordination, including system administration, communications, attendance management, and reporting aligned with our business needs. You will have the opportunity to support the digital transformation of learning processes while actively contributing to the achievement of global Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) relating to Continuous and Digital Learning.
Your Mission:
- Coordinate and administer learning offerings aligned with the regional strategic forecast, ensuring activities meet quality and relevance standards.
- Manage registrations, track attendance, and provide daily support for online and face-to-face learning sessions including technical and logistical arrangements.
- Collect and analyze feedback from learning evaluations to identify areas for improvement and escalate deviations to appropriate stakeholders.
- Customize and enhance the learner experience by leveraging target group insights, business requirements, and basic marketing principles to drive engagement.
- Provide expertise in learning and development reporting, facilitating HR forums and advocating for process improvements to optimize outcomes.
- Lead communication efforts around learning initiatives to raise awareness and foster enthusiasm for development opportunities across the region.
- Identify and suggest innovative process enhancements, leveraging digitization and agile methodologies to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Implement and model global L&D strategies and standards locally, ensuring adherence to global KPIs and consistent use of tools such as Cornerstone and LinkedIn Learning.
- Promote data-driven decision-making and maintain accurate metrics to inform leadership and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with HR colleagues across local, regional, and global levels to embody One HR spirit and contribute to the Regional Centre of Excellence development.
Your Profile:
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Learning & Development, Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience within learning and development functions.
- Familiarity with learning management systems such as Cornerstone, LinkedIn Learning, or other HCM software platforms.
- Proficient use of Microsoft 365 suite, including Teams and SharePoint, to manage communication and documentation.
- Understanding of South African Skills Development requirements is an advantage.
- Strong capability in systems administration, reporting, and data analysis to support strategic decisions.
- Experience or interest in communication strategies and change management is desirable.
