Regional Inbound Replenishment Planner - 9 month contract

Mission of the role:
We are seeking an Inbound Replenishment Planner to ensure the smooth and cost-effective flow of materials into our operations. You will review and approve replenishment orders, manage stock levels across regional locations, and resolve or escalate issues such as rejected materials, lead-time discrepancies, and stock outs. This role requires strong analytical skills, experience with ERP/MRP systems, and effective communication with suppliers and internal teams.
Your mission:
- Process replenishment proposals promptly and review ERP/WMS system actions daily to align inventory with forecast demand, making decisions to release, cancel, or defer orders while escalating exceptions.
- Expedite and track orders for incoming shipments, backorders, and past-due items to meet customer expectations.
- Review item status changes to adjust or cancel open purchase orders, and communicate updates to Order Fulfillment and Customer Care to ensure accurate promise dates.
- Coordinate surplus returns and redistributions regionally and globally, arranging transportation with nominated forwarders and supporting breakdown escalations.
- Monitor supplier confirmations (PO/DO/RO), resolve ACIGNs, and escalate supplier practice adjustments to improve cost and service levels.
- Maintain effective communication across teams regarding supply issues, update tracking reports, support inventory planning, and assist with discrepancies and cost reduction goals.
- Handle imports, rejected material claims, internal returns, and act as the link between expediting and inventory control teams, ensuring compliance with policies and Prokura regulations.
Your Profile:
- Experience working with ERP and Planning tools is desired.
- Experience in planning and/or purchasing of components as well as equivalent work is meritorious.
- Strong English communication skills both verbal and written
- Local language requirements specific for the SCOC/DC (to be defined)
