The Business Controller plays a leading role in financial management and management control for ProReman. The position supports General management and ensures the implementation, application, and monitoring of the company's accounting policies, controls and procedures. The Business Controller is responsible for operational reporting, and compliance/legal requirements.

Tasks, duties & responsibilities:

· Ensure the submission of financial and management reports (such as monthly forecasts, monthly report) in accordance with the Group's practices and procedures.

· To manage cash flow including analysis and follow-up of working capital and investments in fixed assets

· Responsible for maintaining Internal controls in accordance with the Epiroc way. Coordinate internal and external audits locally, take mitigation actions proactively to avoid risks.

· Assist with strategic planning and work with the company's management to develop strategies and processes to achieve objectives and targets.

· Partner with senior management to prepare and deliver financial reports, scorecards, and presentations for business and CRM reviews. Actively participate in key business activities and company-wide initiatives to advance company goals.

· Ensure that accounting processes are organised, documented and adhered to for all accounting processes within the organization. Establish appropriate cost centres, cost tracking, and performance reporting for the management team.

· Establish and monitor all administrative projects and objectives to ensure improvement in all phases of finance.

· Report "red flags" to management whenever compliance with sound business principles is threatened.

· Being a strong promoter for new way of working within responsible area.

· Company's accounting policies, controls and procedures. The Business Controller is responsible for operational reporting, and compliance/legal requirements.

 

Knowledge, Education & Qualifications:

· University diploma in business administration with a specialisation in accounting.

· Have 5 to 7 years of experience in accounting or any other relevant equivalent experience.

· Strong background in finance/accounting.

· Previous experience in management control is an asset.

· Experience working in an international environment and with group reporting.

· Experience in people management

· Experience with ERP systems and ERP deployments would be an asset.

· Maintain a high level of accounting knowledge with the ability to develop a solid understanding of our products, the market, the sales process and how these processes operate within the structural regulatory framework established.

· Detail oriented and works with a high degree of accuracy

· Ability to develop rapport, and build strong relationships with stakeholders
