Do you have drilling tool sales experience that you’re looking to take to the next level? Or are you someone who is working operationally onsite, have a mechanical or technical trade and are looking for a career change and see sales as you next step?
We are seeking a motivated person to join Epiroc as a Sales Representative, working within our dynamic team promoting and selling our high-quality top hammer tools.
Targeting the quarry, aggregate and hard rock mining markets in both New South Wales and Queensland, this role involves building strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities:
· Client Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
· Product Knowledge: Gain a thorough understanding of our top hammer tools and their applications to effectively communicate benefits and features to clients.
· Sales Strategy: Implement and execute sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets and expand market share.
· Market Analysis: Research on competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and challenges.
· Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
· Negotiation: Negotiate terms and conditions of sales agreements to close deals and secure long-term contracts.
· Customer Support: Provide excellent post-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and address any issues or concerns promptly.
· Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market intelligence through our CRM data base. Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management.
· Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as marketing and product development, to align sales strategies with company goals and customer needs.
Qualifications:
· Experience: Previous experience in the mining, quarry or aggregates sector.
· Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to work autonomously whilst understanding your role and responsibilities to a global organisation. Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels.
· Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with top hammer drilling tools, civil, quarry and aggregate drilling equipment, and industry standards an added advantage. Technical aptitude to understand and explain complex products.
· Education: Relevant certifications or training in sales or the mining industry is a plus.
· Travel: Willingness to travel extensively throughout your defined regions in both New South Wales and Queensland.
