Join Our Team as a Continuous Improvement Specialist at Epiroc!
The Continuous Improvement role is responsible for driving systematic identification, analysis, and elimination of inefficiencies across processes, systems, and ways of working. This position applies structured continuous improvement and problem‑solving methodologies to improve performance, reduce waste, and increase value in alignment with organizational objectives. Working closely with cross‑functional teams, the Continuous Improvement Specialist facilitates data‑driven decision‑making, coaches teams through change, and translates improvement opportunities into sustainable solutions. Serving as a catalyst for operational excellence, this role strengthens standardization, builds improvement capability, and ensures measurable, lasting results.

Work Type: Hybrid, 50% travel to other Epiroc sites and customer sites
Responsibilities:
- Identify, analyze, and prioritize improvement opportunities by mapping current-state processes, evaluating performance data, and diagnosing root causes of inefficiencies across operational, administrative, and support functions.
- Lead and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and structured problem-solving methodologies (e.g., Kaizen, DMAIC, PDCA, standard work) to deliver measurable and sustainable performance improvements.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to plan, implement, and sustain improvement actions aligned with organizational goals and operational priorities.
- Coach, mentor, and influence employees at all levels to strengthen problem-solving skills and promote a culture of continuous improvement into daily operations.
- Utilize KPIs, dashboards, and visual management tools to track progress, communicate results, and ensure transparency and accountability for continuous improvement efforts.
- Develop, standardize, and sustain improved processes by creating and maintaining SOPs, visual controls, and management system tools that support consistency, quality, and long-term performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience in continuous improvement, operations, or process improvement may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Professional certifications in Lean 101, Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt), and related training are strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience applying continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Kaizen, DMAIC, PDCA, or Six Sigma to drive measurable operational improvements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, conduct root-cause analysis, and convert insights into actionable, sustainable solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence cross-functional teams by engaging stakeholders, facilitating discussions and workshops, and gaining alignment to drive change.
- Effective written, verbal and presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts into clear, engaging messages for diverse audiences across all levels of the organization.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and common process documentation and visual management tools.
- Domestic travel required up to 50–70% based on business needs; valid driver’s license required.

Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $90,000 to $110,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. This range reflects our commitment to fair pay based on skills, experience, and market standards. This role will also be eligible for 10% Variable Compensation
